Hawks to Face Penn State in Big Ten Tourney

After receiving a first round bound bye the Hawkeyes will be facing the Penn State Nittany Lions in the second round of the Big Ten Tournament today at 2:25 on the BTN Network. Penn  State finished the season with 17-15 overall record and beat Nebraska last night 68-65 to advance to the second round. The last time these two teams met was less than a month ago on February 8th. The Hawkeyes won this game in overtime 81-77. Iowa senior Aaron White was the games leading scorer with 21 points and also led the game with 14 rebounds,  The winner of today's game will face Purdue on Friday, March 13th in the Quarterfinals.
