Big Ten Tourney Preview

The Iowa Hawkeyes finished their season on Sunday with a 69-52 win against the Northwestern Wildcats. The Hawkeyes are currently riding a  6 game winning streak finishing the season with a 21-10 record. Iowa finished  the season in 5th place in the Big Ten with a 12-6 conference record. The Hawkeyes have played well enough this season to earn a tourney spot win or lose, but if the Hawks can make a run in this year's Big Ten Tournament they have a chance to gain a lower seed for the Big Dance this March. ESPN's Joe Lunardi's latest Bracketology has Iowa as a 7 seed.   Iowa has received a first round bye in the Big Ten Tourney, and will play the winner of the Nebraska vs. Penn State on March 12th at 1:30. The game will be airing on the Big Ten Network.
