MVC Tittle On the Line

Coming into this weekend The UNI Panther's are currently one of the hottest teams in the nation, riding a 16 game win streak. UNI has been one of the best defensive teams in the nation holding opponents to just 53.9 points per a game which ranks 4th nationally. Offensively the Panthers are also excelling as one of the best shooting teams in the nation ranking 12th in overall field goal percentage and 17th in 3 point percentage.    This weekend UNI faces 10th ranked Wichita State with the MVC tittle on the line. Each team has only lost one conference game so the winner of this weekend's rematch will be crowned MVC regular season champions, and awarded a number 1 seed in the upcoming conference tournament in St. Louis.  The last time these two teams played was on January 31st in Cedar Falls, Seth Tuttle put up a game high of 29 points to fuel the Panthers to a 70-54 win.  Be sure to tune in to ESPN at 1:00 to watch the Panther's fight for the conference tittle.
